Comments:
The Lagerstroemia indica x L. fauriei 'Tuscarora' is an excellent specimen/feature tree. It's ability to tolerate a wide range of soil and climatic conditions make the species a good choice for street trees as well. Shows some resistance to powdery mildew. Rough bark that reveals a smooth underbark as the tree matures.
