Comments:
A very attractive tree, selected for the intensity of its autumn foliage colour. Tolerates a wide range of soil types but performs best in well-drained, fertile soil in full sun exposure. The Platanus orientalis var. insularis 'Autumn Glory' is an excelent specimen tree for parks and gardens or as a street tree where space permits. Responds well to heavy pruning. Bark, leaf and fruit litter may be a problem in urban areas.
All plant dimensions are estimates only and ultimate size and growth rates will depend on growing conditions, particularly when used in some urban environments.
