Mt William was lucky enough to be a part of a research project initiated to undertake further research of tree stock balance parameters across all climatic regions of Australia in the recently released Australian Standard AS2303:2015. Thankyou to Court and Andrew of Western Sydney University for making the trip out to conduct the insepction.
The Landscaping Victoria Awards Night 2015 which was held at ZINC at Fed Square on October 17th. 2015 ended with the prestigious ‘Landscape of the Year’ being awarded jointly to Hamilton Landscapes and Australian Native Landscape Constructions.
Mt William Advanced Tree Nursery was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to supply trees to Christopher Gursansky’s project ‘Ordered nature’, which was an entry to the show gardens at MIFGS 2013 and earned a silver placement.
Mt William Advanced Tree Nursery was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to supply trees to Christian Jenkins’ Beyond Blue MIFGS show garden entries in both 2015 and 2016. Trees supplied have included Zelkova serrata and Quercus palustris ‘Pringreen’ ‘Green Pillar’. Christian’s hard work earned him a silver placement in 2015 and a bronze in 2016.
Another great year at the Treenet Symposium hosted at the Waite Aboretum. Damien and Phil were lucky enough to present this year, covering the topic of the fundamentals of what goes in to growing a quality tree at a production nursery.
